Vipers Bugloss 250g

Viper’s bugloss, a brilliant blue wildflower, produces a versatile liquid honey that has mild sweetness and a hint of zesty tang. 

Mix and match our 250g jars for a sweet gift idea, or for your own personal supply. Amplify your toast, indulge in antioxidant filled honey drinks, or use it as a sugar substitute for your favourite recipes, collect a few to find your favourite.

The five-petaled flowers of viper’s bugloss begin as pink buds, opening up to reveal vivid blue flowers with bright red stamens, loved by bees. They produce a good honey flow when most other nectar sources have dried up for the year. The unusual name refers to the seed, which resembles a viper’s head and has long been known as a folk remedy for snakebite.

You will receive your jar safely packaged in recycled and reused cardboard, or if this is a sweet treat for someone, please let us know and we will do our best to make it look special. Handwritten notes can be added too.
