Manuka Honey has distinctive damp earth aromas and slightly bitter aftertaste. Medium sweet, rich in flavor with notes of barley sugar balanced with mineral and herb. Perfect for the whole household to enjoy or as a thoughtful gift in its own right! Our honeybees forage freely on the nectar produced by manuka flowers in the Central Otago high-country in early summer. For centuries the Manuka plant has been used extensively in traditional Maori medicine and has grown in fame throughout the world for it’s antibacterial, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties.

You will receive your jar safely packaged in recycled and reused cardboard, or if this is a sweet treat for someone, please let us know and we will do our best to make it look special. Handwritten notes can be added too.
