Manuka 500g

Manuka honey is distinctive with its damp earth aromas and slightly bitter aftertaste. Medium sweet, rich in flavor with notes of barley sugar balanced with mineral and herb. These handy 500g size's would only last about a week in our house, so if this is a sneaky selfish pot just for you then 500g should do it, but if the whole family are honey lovers we recommend our 1kg value jar!

Our honeybees forage freely on the nectar produced by manuka flowers in the Central Otago high-country in early summer. For centuries the Manuka plant has been used extensively in traditional Maori medicine and has grown in fame throughout the world for it’s antibacterial, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties.

You will receive your jar safely packaged in recycled and reused cardboard, or if this is a sweet treat for someone, please let us know and we will do our best to make it look special. Handwritten notes can be added too.
